The Wild Card Project: Korinna Veropoulou
Korinnna line-up - 1 of 1.jpeg

Our latest series of beers were designed by the artist & illustrator Korinna Veropoulou. This collection was the result of our desire to create four new beers which were vibrant, bright and juicy, but ultimately sessionable, really quenching your thirst over the summer months.

The new line-up includes a really crisp, refreshing Pale Ale and IPA. We’ve packed the other two full with summer & citrus fruits; bringing you a Berry & Sorrel Sour - Fragile Loyalty - and a Citrus Session IPA, What Rhymes With Orange.

THE DESIGNS

Korinna’s designs feature motifs influenced by things she missed; The yuzu on the front of What Rhymes with Orange was inspired by the lemon orchards which lie along the Amalfi Coast. For the birds on Fragile Loyalty, Korinna took inspiration from a family of robins nesting in front of her window. Carried Away features sage incense, which is used a lot in pagan and witchcraft rituals to purify a space. The little red and white string wrapped around it is a reference to the Greek tradition of wearing red around your wrist to welcome good weather and ward off the bad. At the end of the month, it should be cut off and tied to a tree for birds to use as nesting material.
